SEXDRIVE, SUNCOAST & SEARS

I’ve been having a lot of good Fridays lately, and yesterday was another one of them :]

Went to the movies at Chula Vista mall with Blake– we watched Sexdrive, which was really amusing & funny for “one of those” boy/potty humor movies I usually enjoy most of the time. Totally owned that empty theater, which was awesome. After, we walked around talking and stuff… browsing movies at Suncoast, and bought some books at Borders. Oh, how I fucking love Borders. It’s ridiculous, lol. (New Moon & The Zombie Survival Handbook) I almost got my identity stolen because I’m a dumbass who ALMOST forgot to close my ATM account when I was done taking out money… that would have been bad.

Walked around some more – KB Toys & Sears, then walked back to the food court and just sat talking. Got into a “heated” discussion about our respected heights: “There’s no way you’re almost 5′8!” Walked BACK to Sears to prove Blake wrong… busted a mission just to find measuring tape. We literally circled the entire first floor looking for that, lol. I am legitimately 5′2/5′3 and a half, which I knew already. And Blake is legitimately… 5′6 and a half… (that was it, right?) In other words, I proved him wrong, lol. We walked back to the food court and talked a little bit more until my mom picked me up. Grabbed some Carl’s Jr. on the way home. NOM NOM NOM.

LOPEZ x3

Thursday, October 2– Made some brownies and met up with Victoria. We got some cookies & cream ice cream from Northgate and attempted to study for the SAT subject tests at her casa. “Term alert!” OH MAN. &LOL @ the literature book having an Alice In Wonderland example question! Chattered about Heroes a bit; I saw one of the season endings and some guy got shot. Mila cried because I was a monster (apparently).

Friday, October 3– Cleaned my room like cuh-razy! It looks really nice when it’s not cluttered. Victoria, Robby & Blake came over and I made ‘em some spaghetti and I dominated in a game of Wii bowling. Watched Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist at Chula mall Ultra Star, then bought some Arizona & a huge barrel of pretzels at CVS.

Saturday, October 4– Wake-up call to start off my day. I watched Adventures In Babysitting while I got ready for the SATs. Got hash browns at Mc Donald’s. NOM NOM NOM. The SAT subject tests were pretty easy, but it was a stupid move NOT taking the bio part of the exam and opting for history. After, we made a quick stop at Blockbuster, then Mervyn’s. Ate some of THE most delicious pizza from Mike’s, and accepted a last-minute quince invitation for Manny’s sister, Jo. Got ready at my house & stuff… Victoria’s new nickname is Judas, haha! It was a really fun party, and they had a chocolate fountain! Jo looked like a princess. Yvonne, Lorena, Ruby & Avila were there too, and we stepped outside while it was drizzling to say hello to Robby, Mando & Val.

YOB HUNT

I don’t know why, but I woke up around 5AM and could not go back to sleep. I went back and forth between lying in bed listening to music, to Myspace in the computer room. Had 3 hour-ish phone talk, the longest it’s been in a while, which made me happy, even though most of the conversation was spent talking about Mobsters, lol. & I can’t believe… more or less 5 months.

After phone talk I busted out the white pages in hopes of finding some local places that would hire poor little unemployed, under-aged me. Most of the places I tried were either not hiring, or only hired at age 18 and up. I applied online for Game Crazy in Chula Vista, and when I drove my mom to Mervyn’s I applied on one of the computers at customer services. I didn’t even know they opened a new Game Stop on Saturn, but there it was… calling out to me. I was really psyched too, since the Game Stop on Palm had said they already finished hiring for the holidays. I walked in and talked with one of the employees… her name was Joelyn or something like that. She complimented my Gwen Stefani purse as soon as I walked up to her, lol; then she complimented my earrings, and then my sunglasses. We had small talk about how I got laid off at the Disney Store and stuff, and she gave me an application. She said that I shouldn’t keep my hopes too high or rely on just that store, since they already had a butt-load of applications, but I’m really hoping I get the job. I’d love working in a video game store… it’s hella nerdy, but come on, LOOK AT ME.

I was also thinking about applying at Starbucks, just not the one on Palm, because I’d hate to serve the little pukes I go to school with. AMC is also on my list of places I’d like to attempt applying at. As a last resort, I’ll apply at Levi or Nike, but for now I want to milk out all of my other options, because I want to work somewhere I love.

When I got home, I walked to Luzita’s and bought a California burrito ($4.09) and got an Arizona from Northgate, which was only $0.85(?!?!!!) Awesome. James Franco was there, but I didn’t go to his line since it was way too busy anyways. I weakly dragged myself home in the damn heat, and watched Maury… then I knocked out for 4 hours… a lovely, food coma/sleep deprivation induced nap. It was nice.

(By the way, I can’t get over how good I smell right now… thanks to Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship raspberry shampoo and that new orchid body spray from Bath & Body Works.)
